Singer
/ Songwriter / Performer. 16-year-old Dakota has been in the studio
recording her own original songs since she was 9. She's most known for
her song, "Mistake", that won First Place in the 2007 American Idol
Underground Song competition. Dakota has played live in venues all over
Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Orange County, California. Her current song,
Materiali$tic is a collaboration with top L.A. writer/producer Christian
Stalnecker. Next up to be released is a trio of songs Dakota co-wrote
with Danielle Brisebois, co-writer and producer of Natasha Bedingfield's
mega-hit "Unwritten," and upcoming release "Pocket Full of Sunshine."
The Dakota/Danielle songs are produced by Wayne Wilkins, writer and
producer of the current Bedingfield/Sean Kingston hit "Love Like This".
